Heart shaped locket
Buried feelings
Sinking to the bottom
Of the river bed

Water gently flowing
Stormy night rain hurries
And tears stream down
The cheeks of a hopeless princess

Whose feet sink into the sand
Watching the sun set upon the horizon
Waves crashing carrying
A golden capsule on a chain

And as she holds it in her hand
She breathes in gold and silver
As the memories within
Will one day cool down

Magmatic and colorful
Hardened and free
Weight lifted off her shoulders
As she rests by the sea
