Today I’m going out to the library
To return an overdue book
About a boy trapped in an asylum
he doesn’t remember why he’s there

It’s 3 and it’s already dark out
I can see the moon clear as day
Do you wanna be my best friend?
Or will I need to ask the moon instead

Montreal is a wonderful place
Because I can see the moon’s come out today to play
Quebec is a magical place
Did you know they have a bridge there, too

It’s 3 and it’s still light out
I can see the sun clear as night
It’s time for bed, I’ll shut my eyes
and we can sleep together in the same bed
